Starting over is not that bad seriously! A True Story!! OMG!

This is a deeply personal post, hopefully none of you are reading this but can we just prove the naysayers wrong please? I have been told good news blogs do not sell, rather gossip is the way to go. But you have to understand that in the society we live in, that can be really dicey.

While it is fine for some, when you have a family and you are now not just by yourself, you have to aspire for something much bigger than you. Personally, yes, I would rather over and have only 5 people read this blog than be " the richest blog in Africa" but at the same time be alone! No this is not a jab to anyone, I am glad I started out as the first blog and even my original tag line was copied to create a famous blog today.

I am happy for everyone's success (honestly), at the end of the day the question that will be answered is how do you want to be remembered?

So from now on, I want to inspire you Naijagal - means a a successful global woman in all facets of life! Career, family, marriage, tech and self employed. That is not to say I will not profile men in varied posts but  this site will surely inspire. By the way we are working on something huge! Will you join us?

“I don’t think that is a bad thing.

7.1 million Nigerians are on Facebook every day, are you a frequent user?

Facebook has released the second quarter figures of its active users in Kenya, South Africa and Nigeria.
7.1 million Nigerians use Facebook daily and 15 million are active monthly.

The report also made mention of the fact that 95 percent of Facebook users in Kenya are active on Facebook mobile while all Nigerian users are active on the site! Amazing!
“Mobile is not [just] a trend; it’s the fastest adoption of disruptive technology in history of communication. It’s also an incredibly personal device regardless of where a person lives or how they connect, and businesses need to reach people where they are, not where they were, in an authentic, personal and relevant way.” said Nunu Ntshingila, Head of Africa at Facebook.
Facebook had previously announced that its active user population in Africa had grown by 20% to 120 million in June 2015 from 100 million in September 2014. The company also indicated that more than 80% of its users in Africa access Facebook from their mobile phones.
Facebook recently opened a regional office in Africa to capture the region’s growth potentials and also help businesses connect with people and grow locally and regionally. Facebook stated that it’s team in Africa is focusing primarily on Kenya (East Africa), Nigeria (West Africa), and South Africa (Southern Africa).
