MEET THE IBEYI TWINS AMAZING 1MILLION VIEWS!! ON YOUTUBE! COME TO THEIR RIVER!

Here is what you need to know about these gorgeous sisters.
Ibeyi,  is a combination of Cuban-born, Paris-based twin sisters Naomi and Lisa-Kaindé Díaz, is an electronic doom soul duo who are forging a new spiritual sound with their debut EPOya. The 19-year-old musicians are XL Recordings‘ newest signees, and their introductory singles “Oya” and “River” possess a hypnotic blend of hip-hop, electronica, and blues infused with Yoruba prayers and folk songs that will transport you to a higher realm upon first listen.
1

Singing in French, English, Spanish and Yoruba, Ibeyi count among their primary influences Nina SimoneMeshell Ndegeocello, James Blake and their late father, the celebrated Cuban jazz percussionist Miguel “Anga” Diaz. Ibeyi’s vocal range, which wavers from the raspy and wraith-like to the sonorous and divine, is ideal for their sonic palette which revels in the phantasmagorical groove of liturgical Yoruba songs. Besides singing in Yoruba–which was brought to Cuba by West African slaves–Ibeyi honor their father’s legacy and Afro-Cuban heritage through their percussive production and use of live instruments. Beatsmith Naomi plays both the cajón and thebatá while Lisa-Kaindé remains more in tune with the musical mythos of Ibeyi’s sound by weaving Yoruba lore deeply into their lyrics. “River” is dedicated to the goddessOshun (the mother of the Ibeyi, and their first single and EP are both named for  Oya(the benevolent orisha who took the Ibeyi in after Oshun was accused of witchcraft for birthing twins and kicked them out).

Now watch their lovely video, be ready to ask how did they do that???

NAIJAGAL OF THE DAY IS TUEDON OMATSOLA MORGAN!! MARATHON SUPER STAR NAIJAGAL AND TECH EXPERT!

Not only is she a good friend of ours,  she is definite one super stunning, tremendously brilliant Naijagal. She is a suberb marathon winner, hmm lets just say she finished marathon's in seven continents! She also has two masters degrees, but wait there is more, get this: she moved to Qatar in 2005 and is currently educating Qataris! Okay should we just say, all hail the queen! Cause that is what she is in our books, are you inspired yet? Well here is an interview she gave with Bellanaija:

Tell us about yourself
I am British with Nigerian parents. My parents come from Warri Delta-State Nigeria. I am 41 years old, I’ll be 42 in a few weeks. I have been married for 21 years, and have 4 sons. This year my boys will be 20, 18, 16 and 8. My first degree was in Accounting and Finance with Business Information Technology. I have two Masters Degrees: one in Business Administration and another in Education. I moved to Qatar in 2005 from the United Kingdom to help out with Qatarization. I am currently working with the Ministry of Administrative Development educating Qataris.

What inspired you to start running?
I gained a lot of weight after having my 4th son and my health started to deteriorate. I was always breathless and started to really experience lots of pain on my ankles and knee. I was always complaining of how big I was but never did anything about it. My boss at the time Tracy Pryce called me into her office one day and said I had to do something about my weight. I would complain frantically about how big I was but she would see me eat everything on the face of the earth. Tracy ran on the treadmill and at that time it seems impossible. So I finally joined the gym in January 2008, but my goal wasn’t to run. All I wanted was to lose weight. I started walking, then progressed to jogging and when I could run a 5km on the treadmill.

How many hours do you train a week?
I always say my first year of running were my best years. I ran once a week and would use the gym 5 days a week. I just ran with the club on a Friday and slowly picked up pace and distance. Training for a marathon is like taking on a second full-time job but I wasn’t fazed by the requirements and commitment to putting in the work to making it happen. I would usually do a 10km to 20km a week. Now starting my 4th year of running, a good week for me is running anything up to 90km a week. I have a personal trainer who I see twice a week and we focus on my core and upper body. I need tight abs and a strong core to hold the distances I run

You finished the 7 continents challenge which you set for yourself. Did you ever think at any point, that you won’t be able to complete it?
I have run the seven continents TWICE. I became the first Nigerian with Abisoye to run the seven continents including Antartica. I just finished running the Triple Seven Quest which was done in 11 days and not the original 7 days. We ran 7 marathons in 7 continents and we had a 5 day delay which meant I was away longer than planned. I always go into a race with hope and faith. I am very prayerful and I have successfully attached my running with my spiritual life. It helps a lot.
Now this was truly inspiring, moms can certainly learn how she does it all!
How do you balance running, with your day job AND motherhood!?

I wake up at 3.30am and by 4am I am on the streets of Doha running. I get home at 5.30am and wake my kids up. At the weekend I do a long run and come back before my kids get up. I try to run in my own time and not steal family time. And when the day starts it’s a full d

CREFLO DOLLAR: JESUS HE KNOWS ME AND HE KNOWS I NEED A $65 MILLION JET!

When I think about our dear pastor Creflo Dollar. Here is what comes to mind:

"Jesus, he loves me and he knows I am right! I have been talking to Jesus all my life!"

He just spoke to God and apparently GOD wants him to buy a private $65 million jet! Normally his congregation will gladly and I really mean gladly oblige any request he makes. After all, he is only asking what a mere $300 from his 200,000 members, as he puts it:

“The ministry’s current airplane was built in 1984, purchased by the ministry in 1999 and has since logged four million miles. Recently on an overseas trip to a global conference, one of the engines failed. By the grace of God, the expert pilot, who’s flown with Creflo for almost 20 years, landed the plane safely without injury or harm to any passengers.”

So that is why he wants the money, pretty simple. But while he really did not expect the power of  social media on earth to virally spread his request like wildfire, that is exactly what he got!

CNN REPORTED ON THEIR WEBSITE:

The minister, known for being a prosperity preacher at his Atlanta-area World Changers Church International, is seeking "200,000 people committed to sow $300 or more (to) help achieve our goal to purchase the G650 airplane."
The figures were presented Friday in a nearly six-minute video on the Creflo Dollar Ministries website (the video was not viewable Friday night) and total more than $60 million needed to buy the Gulfstream G650, which goes for a reported $65 million.
The Gulfstream G650 can fly eight passengers and four crew members some 8,000 statue miles at a cruising speed of Mach 0.85, according to specs posted on gulfstream.com.
The project isn't limited to member donations, as the site states that "we are asking members, partners and supporters of this ministry to assist us in acquiring a Gulfstream G650."

HAVARD GENIUS AND NAIJAGAL-Saheela Ibraheem GETS UNITED STATES PRESIDENTIAL RECOGNITION!

Not only is Saheela Ibraheem a genius Naijagal but she also just received amazing recognition from the president of the United States, President Barack Obama. This was all done in conjunction with the black history month! She got accepted in Harvard at the age of 13  and plans on someday becoming a professor. We are sure she will surpass all as she makes her way to her goals! Congrats Saheela you inspire every Naijagal that has grown up with a dream to make it! You are a role model and Saheela you are our Naijagal of the century.

Per THE ROOT
Four years ago, Saheela Ibraheem stepped onto the campus of Harvard University, a freshman in college at only 15 years old.

After skipping the sixth and ninth grades, Ibraheem received a near-perfect score on the SAT and was accepted to 13 prominent colleges, including several Ivy League schools. She was once named one of the world’s smartest teenagers.

Being a young college student didn’t faze her or her classmates, except when she needed to buy medicine or wanted to get into an R-rated movie, she says. “Being at Harvard has been the most amazing experience,” she told The Root. “I am constantly surrounded by passionate people, from whom I have learned so much.”

Set to graduate this year, Ibraheem, now 19, is studying neurobiology and hopes to one day become a professor.

In her junior year, Ibraheem served on the board of the Harvard Islamic Society as vice president. She speaks Arabic, Spanish and Latin, and loves to listen to music, play logic puzzles and read manga.
